Quality Management in HYDRA X
Your quality always assured
Quality assurance requirements have constantly increased over the years and continue to do so. It's not all about supplying products in a specific quality grade to the customer but to permanently monitor and improve the process quality. Quality assurance begins long before the actual inspection. mApps of the HYDRA X Quality Management category provide the necessary range of functions for this purpose.
How you can benefit from our Quality Management
- Significant cost savings through consistent and early prevention of failures
- More security and hardly any additional expense due to automatic calculation of the inspection due date
- Robust process quality through increased reactivity
- Lower production costs by reducing scrap
- Early detection of supplier quality problems by a consistent supplier management system
- Cost savings resulting from consistent and standardized complaint processing
- Optimization of quality processes by using risk management
Less scrap and lower costs
HYDRA X supports you in inspection planning, operator self-testing and determining the usage decision. In addition, flexible evaluations of the inspection results help to identify trends and errors in the processes at an early stage, and to determine their causes. Measures to eliminate defects can then be defined and their effectiveness monitored. This leads to the reduction of scrap and therefore costs. With HYDRA X, you see quality assurance as an integrated process that runs in parallel with the production management and thus avoiding redundant data storage in several systems. The system provides a complete view - from goods receipt along the entire manufacturing process to goods issue.
Optimized goods receipt inspection
Using a systematic goods receipt inspection, quality problems caused by the suppliers are identified before they reach your own production. Automated inspection and flexible dynamization processes can be used to minimize the cost of inspection at goods receipt. Here, the inspection history for articles and suppliers is used and only suggests inspections that are required. A goods-receipt inspection can also be advisable or even necessary for legal reasons (e.g. commercial code) - for example as a basis for supplier management.
Continuous improvement
In addition to processing external complaints - i.e. initiated by the customer - mApps from HYDRA X use recorded quality data including the failure cause to automatically trigger internal complaints. An optional Workflow Management then ensures that individually defined processes are adhered to and that the user knows at all times to what extend the complaint has been processed or which action is next. The Measure Management guarantees that causes are eliminated in the long term - entirely in line with the continuous improvement process (CIP).
Failure prevention
Potential defects are investigated during the design of a product as well as in the subsequent manufacturing processes with the help of the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Once the defects have been identified, appropriate measures must be defined in order to eliminate these or, if this is not possible, at least to prevent the risk. This makes FMEA a tried-and-tested method for risk analysis and failure prevention. The integration of FMEA in HYDRA X ensures that the collected data is used directly for further processing in inspection planning and defined measures are also applied straight in production.
